Sensitive Sessions

Monthly educational workshops for highly sensitive people to learn the tools to live a balanced life without overwhelm or self-doubt.

Now part of the Sensitive Circles community

The Sensitive Sessions were created for highly sensitive people who…

  • Feel guilty when you take time for yourself or set boundaries.

  • Often feel overwhelmed, stressed, or misunderstood.

  • Minimize or sacrifice your needs to care for others.

  • Have recently discovered that you’re an HSP and/or are figuring out what you need to feel your best.

  • Enjoy deep-diving into self-reflection practices.

  • Need help to start showing up for yourself on a regular basis.

  • Want to understand the highly sensitive trait and your experiences as an HSP more deeply.

To help you prioritize your sensitive needs and feel more relaxed, the monthly sessions include...

To better understand your sensitivity and how to care for your different needs, the Sessions explore a different HSP-related theme each month using instruction, journaling, and mindfulness exercises. Whether or not you attend the sessions live, you'll have access to the recording for at least 30 days. You'll also be able to watch sessions from the previous five months as well.

Live Workshop + Recordings

To build on the insights and tools learned in the workshops, each month you'll receive a 10+ page workbook. Workbooks include the most important information and reflections on that month’s theme. You can print the low-ink version or fill out the digital PDF on your computer.

Digital Workbook

Being in a space created just for HSPs can help you feel less alone and make it easier to recognize your unique needs for balance and meaningful experiences. Experience the relief of being surrounded by others on the same wavelength! Enjoy going deep and spending quality time with other HSPs during live Zoom discussions, creative co-working spaces, and text-based chats.

Upcoming Workshops

Sessions are typically offered on the 2nd Tuesday of the month over Zoom at 12pm PT/3pm ET and 4pm PT/7pm ET (60 minutes each, webinar style). You're welcome to join live or watch the recording.

Sensitivity Through the Years

Have you struggled to move from one chapter of your life to the next because you're feeling overwhelmed by the changes to your health, bandwidth, or relationships? Highly sensitive folks often find life transitions and the aging process difficult. You may feel more sensitive and overstimulated as you get older, need more time to adjust to this new phase of life, or grieving who and what you've left behind in the past.

In this workshop, you'll explore the aging process through an HSP lens to understand why you're feeling differently than others around you, learn to focus more on meaning and less on comparison, and identify ways to make yourself more physically and emotionally comfortable.

Scattered and Sensitive

Do you wish you could be more focused and organized? Despite being more naturally aware of their surroundings, many highly sensitive people struggle to stay on top of their to-do lists, forget little details, and feel like they're living in a mental fog. The more overwhelmed you feel, the more you forget, and round and round it goes.

In this workshop, you'll start to identify the different causes of your distraction, learn strategies to feel more in control of your day, and start living more in alignment with your sensitive needs.

Resetting After Stress

Having your life and typical rhythm disrupted by a period of stress can impact you in significant ways. As a highly sensitive person, you may struggle to acknowledge the intensity of the impact and not give yourself the time you need to find your baseline again.

In this workshop, you'll learn to care for yourself more intentionally following a difficult period and reflect on what you need to feel more prepared next time.

Hi, I’m April Snow, LMFT

I’m a licensed psychotherapist and author in California who specializes in working with HSPs to help them overcome the stress and anxiety of living in a busy, overwhelming world.

Using mindfulness, self-compassion, journaling, and other experiential practices, I help HSPs fully understand their unique needs, release the guilt of prioritizing those needs, and start creating a life on their own terms so that their sensitive strengths can shine through.
